Cyber Defence SOC Manager

Due to the continued growth of Bridewell Consulting and the demand for our SOC services, we are looking for an agile-minded Cyber Defence Manager that will lead the maturing of our Security Operations teams by developing and managing a team of passionate security analysts, whilst shaping processes and services to deliver an exceptional customer service and experience. The role will be a key role as part of our ongoing expansion, so we see this as a great opportunity security management and leadership individuals looking for an opportunity to grow and become part of a global team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and drive forward the Cyber Defence service strategy
  • Contribute as a leader to the SOC Management team to identify and implement areas for improvement across people, technology, and process
  • Revising and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework, review policies and highlight areas for refinement
  • Work with our teams to continually develop a culture of learning and development
  • Working with other Team Leaders and Managers to help mentor, shape and create development plans to maximise their potential
  • Development and implementation working practices and experiences that deliver exceptional customer service
  • Engage with customers to develop key stakeholder relationships.
  • Assist with customer onboarding or escalation as required
  • Continuous development of management information for performance management
  • Ownership of the Security Operations performance, governance, and Continual Improvement
  • Support our analysts with escalations and provide stakeholder management during
  • Continue your own personal development across management, security, and technology
  • Develop knowledge within and support our Client Development function
  • Must have at least two years’ recent experience in a similar management or leadership role within Security operations  


  • Must have at least two years’ experience as a Security Analyst or performing a security operations function
  • Must have demonstrable experience with customer and stakeholder management
  • Must have experience managing or leading teams
  • Must hold industry recognised qualifications for Security Operations, Monitoring, Management and Leadership
  • Should have experience of ITILv4 or Agile Service Management
  • Should have experience of working with Product Management functions
  • It is desirable to have experience working in a Service Provider environment
  • It is desirable to have experience with Microsoft Security technologies
